University of Louisville Bio Medical Research Laboratory Clinical and Translational Research Center Adjacent to the University of Louisville Hospital, this $180 Million Green facility is pursuing Gold certification with the USGBC. Some energy efficient features include sunshades, fritted glass, low emittance glass, white reflective roof, energy recovery (IEQ) and natural lighting.
Wayne Healthcare, Darke County, Ohio. A $47 million expansion project of 98,000 square feet includes a new and expanded ER to 19 beds and over 12,000 square feet, surgery, imaging and cardiopulmonary centers, and much more. This state-of-the-art facility was occupied in spring of 2010.
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Neurosurgical Brain Suite, a most complex and highly technical operating suite capable of providing space for the most intense neurosurgical procedures. The data boards allow communication with expert surgeons to examine intraoperative progress and consult for excellence. Lean Construction processes were used to complete this first-to-market pediatric unit in the United States.
West Chester Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. A new Greenfield hospital valued at $100,000 million and 370,000 square feet, 160 beds, offering surgical services, outpatient and imaging services and a full-service emergency department. It is designed for future growth to 300 beds, additional medical office building and parking garage. This state-of-the-art facility was emphasizes efficiency in planning, design and construction using lean processes and offers spacious patient rooms and patient focused care; the Health Alliance occupied in fall 2008.
The Lied Transplant Center. A center consolidating pre- and post-transplant services as well as a Center for the treatment of cancer patients. The center is linked to the hospital for acute and diagnostic support services.
Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. A $620 million replacement hospital and ambulatory care facility.
Harrison Memorial Hospital Addition and Renovation, Cynthiana, KY encompasses 46,200sf of new construction and 5,940sf renovation. A challenging project with strict infection control measures due to surrounding occupied patient space adjacent to the project. Project value was $15 million completed October 2006. This new expansion doubles the size of our existing Emergency Department, and makes room for additional surgical suites which can now house more technology. It also houses the spacious Elizabeth Bailey Women's Health Center, complete with cutting-edge labor, delivery and recovery suites and a beautiful newborn nursery. New chemotherapy/infusion suites as well as a new hospital pharmacy were also included.
